Mission Statement

Our mission at Park Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation is dedicated to helping our guests not only recover, but live better lives by providing the highest level of medical treatment and patient care possible. We treat our patients with the utmost sensitivity and respect, ensuring their complete comfort during their stay. Our facility thrives on our commitment to individualized, top-quality care. Each day, we seek to provide a family-like experience, with a warm, yet professional atmosphere for each of our guests. This commitment is what makes us distinguished within the peaceful Mayo community where we are located.

Our Approach

We understand the challenges one faces when choosing a rehabilitation or long-term care facility for a loved one. Park Ridge belongs to a family of facilities dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible for both our short-term friends, and long-term family. We implement a unique method to providing care, one that focuses on nurturing the overall mental and physical wellness of our residents, not just treating medical issues. Our state-of-the-art facilities combine cutting edge technology with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Aside from our top notch, round-the-clock medical care, guests can look forward to community outings, fun activities, luxurious rooms, and hands-on, delicate care.

For our long-term and short-term residents, we offer an individualized plan of care and services tailored to meet specialized needs. For our short-term rehabilitation patients, we focus on strengthening our patients so that they can return home as soon as possible. Family education, training, and care conferences are also available to address longer-term goals and discharge planning. In order to ensure a smooth transition after discharge, home evaluations are completed for most rehab patients returning home within about 1-2 weeks.

For our long-term patients, we do our utmost to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Our experienced staff maintains constant communication with our patient's medical team as well as their family members. At Park Ridge, you can rest easy knowing that your family member will receive warm, compassionate care, making his or her stay with us both comfortable and enjoyable.

Testimonials

"I have lived in Perry, Florida for the past 23 years prior to my admission at Park Ridge. I suffered from a stroke in May of 2017. The stroke left me paralyzed on my right side. The therapy department at Park Ridge helped me to walk again and to gain use in my right arm and right leg. The speech therapist helped me to speak clearer. The staff here at Park Ridge, from housekeeping all the way up to management, has went above and beyond to meet my needs. The environment at Park Ridge is very inviting. All staff are very friendly and will do anything they can to help you. If you are looking for somewhere to go for short-term rehabilitation, this is the number one spot to be. I am currently working on transitioning to an Assisted Living Facility. Without the excellent rehabilitation I received at Park Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center, transitioning to an Assisted Living would not be possible. I would like to say thank you to all of the staff at Park Ridge for being so excellent."

"I first came to Park Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center in February of 2013. I originally came to Park Ridge Nursing & Rehab due to having a stroke. Out of all of the places I received therapy, I can honestly say that the therapy department at Park Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center is the best of the best. After my stroke, I had no use of my left hand and was unable to walk. Now, thanks to the therapy team at Park Ridge, I am able to walk with a walker with assistance and have gained use in my left hand. After my therapy was complete I decided to stay long-term. Since my stay here I have had the honor of becoming the President of Resident Council. I encourage all residents to participate in the council meetings and activities. I highly recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for short-term rehab and long-term care."

"When we initially moved my grandmother to Park Ridge healthcare it was supposed to be for rehabilitation. Unfortunately, she never fully recovered from a shoulder surgery and suffered many complications post-op. She spent roughly her last 30 days on this earth at Park Ridge healthcare. My family could not be more pleased with the care and love we received from every single staff member who we came in contact with. From admissions, to her CNA‘s, to the kitchen crew and everyone in between we have the utmost respect for you and your dedication to caring for others. We are so grateful for every one of you. In her final hours the staff went above and beyond to make us and her as comfortable as possible. We are so grateful we were privileged to have this type of experience in our little hometown. We love all of you and appreciate everything that you do!"
